On Father’s Day 2026, members of the All Saints’ Church, Jaipur came with thankful hearts to honour the fathers and father figures in the congregation, and to thank God for the gift of their love, sacrifice, guidance, and strength.
The Bible reminds us that God is our loving Father, full of compassion, mercy, and faithfulness. As we honoured earthly fathers on that special day, we also gave thanks to our heavenly Father, who gives wisdom, strength and grace to all who lead and care for others.
Fathers play an important role in our families and in our lives. They work hard, they protect, they teach, and they lead by example. Many times, their care is seen not only in their words, but in the quiet ways they provide, support, and stay faithful in their responsibilities. This was depicted by a short role play, written and directed by Mrs. Sajana Morris, wherein examples of Biblical fathers – Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Job and Jairus, were portrayed by five Church members.
We reminded every father, grandfather, and father figure in our church family that their presence matters. Their prayers matter. Their example matters. We are grateful as they shape their homes, guide their children, and build stronger families. As a token of our gratitude, they were presented with beautiful mementos.
The program culminated with a prayer by the Presbyter Rev. Sandeep Samuel Hiskiel, to bless all the fathers and father figures with health, peace, patience, and joy. May the Lord give wisdom in every decision, strength in every challenge, and love that continues to bless their families. May their lives always reflect God’s goodness and faithfulness.
