Green Day’ was celebrated joyfully at All Saints’ Church Jaipur on Sunday, 26th July 2026, as a meaningful step toward caring for God’s creation, with a special sapling-planting activity that reminded everyone of our responsibility to nurture life and protect the environment.
Message of the Day
Led with poignant grace by Presbyter in Charge Rev. Sandeep Samuel Hiskiel, the congregation was grounded in the timeless words of Christ - Gospel of St. John 15:5 “ I AM THE VINE “ awakening a shared emotional calling to cherish and protect God’s Precious Creation of EARTH and all its Vibrant Life. Through his sermon, Rev. Sandeep Samuel Hiskiel highlighted the idea that caring for nature is part of caring for life itself. He quoted Genesis 2:15 — “God placed Man in the garden of Eden to till it and take care of it.” This is one of the clearest Bible verses on stewardship.
Event Highlights
The celebration brought together members of the Church community in an atmosphere of prayer, gratitude, and service. Children, youth, and families participated with enthusiasm, making the day both educational and spiritually uplifting. The Sunday School Children presented a special song, admiring and praising God’s wonderful creation.
Saplings were planted as a symbol of hope, growth, and commitment to a greener future. This simple act also encouraged everyone to take practical responsibility for the environment beyond the event itself. Through the planting activity, the Church community renewed its resolve to support clean surroundings, tree conservation, and sustainable living.
